We use patented equipment which is designed for handling safe destruction of classified data for the military. Additionally, this process is HIPAA, FACTA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliant. Our 100% green process is complete data eradication and recycling through local recycling channels. This results in no land-fill impact to the environment, promoting a greener earth.

Information bearing layer is removed using our patented, commercial grade disc grinding device. Surface area of ground particles are ground to a 250 micron size. The remaining high-grade polycarbonate is recycled.

 

HDD Media

Hard disk drive media is first degaussed using a rare-earth magnet device. Secondly, the hard drive is dissasembled, the platters are processed through our Department of Defense approved high-security disintegrator, and all hard drive parts are recycled.

 

Flash Media
